The 2025 Nissan LEAF® is an excellent choice for drivers looking for their first electric vehicle. However, with two available trims, you need to know their key features and what makes them unique. The Hall Nissan Virginia Beach team has assembled this guide to the differences between the 2025 Nissan LEAF® trims.

Electric Battery and Driving Range

When you hit the road in the 2025 Nissan LEAF® S, you can travel up to 150 miles on a single battery charge. That’s thanks to the standard 40 kWh battery, which can be fully charged in up to eight hours with 240-volt charging or in only 40 minutes with available DC fast charging.

If you need more mileage, the 2025 Nissan LEAF® SV PLUS uses its standard 60 kWh battery to travel up to 215 miles. You can charge this trim in eleven hours with 240-volt chargers or up to 45 minutes via DC fast charging.

Electric Motor Performance

Both 2025 Nissan LEAF® trims use a single AC Synchronous motor for power, but depending on your trim, you’ll get different power levels. The S trim generates 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, while the SV PLUS manages 214 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque.

Interior Comforts

If you’re looking for a basic interior without any frills, the 2025 Nissan LEAF® S is perfect. With standard cloth seating and standard cabin preconditioning, you can always stay comfortable inside this trim. The SV PLUS trim adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
