The 2023 Nissan LEAF is arriving soon, and we can't wait to welcome this redesigned electric car at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach! If high gas prices have you down, now's the time to switch over to a new car that uses electric power instead of gasoline.

Here's what you need to know about this new EV.

Electric Power

As we mentioned, the new 2023 Nissan LEAF runs on electric power alone. There are two battery pack options, a 40 kWh pack and a 60 kWh pack, and different models will have different power outputs: 147 horsepower and 214 horsepower.

According to EPA estimates, the model with the smaller battery pack has a range of around 149 miles. The larger battery pack ups that range to 212 miles. Both versions of the 2023 Nissan LEAF will be compatible with DC fast charging. These types of charging stations allow the EV to recover around 80% of its range in just 45 to 60 minutes.

A New Exterior

The new Nissan LEAF has been completely redesigned for the 2023 model year. Its stylish exterior will look a bit sportier than you might expect, and plenty of other dynamic design touches will help this EV stand out on the highway.

Cutting-Edge Technology

A full suite of Nissan Safety Shield® 360 features, including Rear Cross Traffic Alert, are standard on the 2023 Nissan LEAF. This electric vehicle will also offer smartphone integration features, an advanced infotainment system, and plenty of USB charging ports to pick from.
