After taking the 2021 model year off to refresh, the Nissan Pathfinder is back in a big way. Here at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach, we have the new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder in our new inventory, and the eight-passenger, three-row SUV is revitalized and better than ever.

Savvy buyers will also want to check out the competition, such as the Kia Telluride. Here is a side-by-side comparison between the two large SUVs.

Return to Rugged

The Nissan Pathfinder returns to the Nissan lineup for the 2022 model year with a new and improved powertrain. The SUV comes standard with an impressive 3.5-liter Direct Injection Gasoline V6 engine good for 284 horsepower. Along with this increased power comes increased towing capacity. The Nissan Pathfinder is perfect for families who need to tow a boat or a trailer, as the Nissan SUV can tow up to 6,000 lb. Meanwhile, available Tow Mode with Downhill Speed Control and Trailer Sway Control increase confidence while towing a heavy load.

While the Kia Telluride features similar engine output figures, the towing capacity falls short at 5,000 lb. You also will not find any of the reassuring towing assistance features found in the Nissan Pathfinder.

Connectivity

The intuitive cockpit of the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder is designed to keep you connected to your technology behind the wheel. Customize all three of the Nissan Pathfinder’s new digital displays to serve up key information the way you like it, and Nissan Connect® services have you covered in case of an emergency.

The technology in the Kia Telluride falls slightly short, with only two different displays and a 10.25-inch touchscreen display, compared to the 12.3-inch display on the Pathfinder.

See why the Nissan Pathfinder is superior by taking a test drive here at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach!
