A Look at the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport

Right now, during the Chicago Auto Show, carmakers are unveiling a slew of upcoming models and exciting concepts. It so happens that our favorite automaker here at Hall Nissan Virginia Beach came to the party with an all-new 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport.

The 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport brought with it more standard and optional equipment for the 2019 model year. Now, for the 2020 model year, it's coming to us with its own design personality; meaning it won’t look like a smaller version of the Nissan Rogue.

From the photos taken at the 2019 Chicago Show, we can see that the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport is quite attractive and daring in its design. The sporty crossover features a new front fascia with a VMotion grille. Additionally, the headlights, which are now more narrow, get an update as well as the interior trim.

Powering the upcoming 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with Xtronic CVT transmission that puts out 141 horsepower. It’s the same engine found in the current 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport.

Since the Nissan Rogue Sport is its own car and not a trim on the Nissan Rogue, it comes with its own set of trim levels and features, such as the Nissan Safety Shield 360 which is now standard across all three trims. The three trim levels are the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport S, SV, and SL. Safety is a top priority here, so even the base S trim is fully equipped with all the driver assistance aids you expect ranging from automatic emergency braking to blind spot warning.

We’ll keep our Nissan fans in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach, VA areas updated on more features and when the crossover will go on sale. For now, visit us at 3757 Bonney Road for all your current vehicle needs.
